hi i wanted to ask if there where good advanced programs (not nvu, too simple) and preferably free or even better open source that could be used instead of adobe studio programs. even programs for linux would do fine (fedora core 7)

well you can do the same thing as dreamweaver with any text editor. If your trying to make something like flash you could learn javascript and show off some mad AJAX skills. Or, I believe the Adobe Flex IDE is free and there's a long list of flash compilers, etc at osFlash
