One of my main complaints with WordPress is the way it displays the following characters.

The quotation mark — “test” — should look like this — "test" — .
You need to use " to make quotation mark display this way — "test" — .

The apostrophe mark — ‘test’ — should look like this — 'test' — .
You need to use ' to make quotation mark display this way — 'test' — .

If you want to be compatable with IE6 you need to use ' to display the quotation mark — ' — .
