can you suggest me about google dance ?

i know little bit about google dance ....
can anyone suggest me more about it ?

Google Dance is often used to describe the index update of the Google search engine. Google's index update occurs on average once per month. It can be identified by significant movement in search results and especially by Google's cache of all indexed pages reflecting the status of Google's last spidering. But the update does not proceed as a switch from one index to another at one point in time. In fact, it takes several days to complete the index update. During this period, the old and the new index alternate on http://www.google.com.

Where you site position go up and down regular in google then webmasters says this process as google dance.

Generally this happen at the time of PR update.

The update process is initiated every 30 days or so, although on some occasions there have been more than 30 days between updates.

yes but i still find few of my sites bouncing to frequantly, so it`s very weird and make it look unstable.

When Google is updating its database the rank of some website goes up and down.
