Here' are few ways to find out number of backlinks to your website in Google search engine.
Type following in google search box
1) Link:www.webmasteryouth.com -- These are the actual links that google count as backlinks to your website
2) "www.webmasteryouth.com" -- these are web pages and websites that links to your website but few of them which google hasn't counted, this command includes actual backlink that google counts to your website and backlinks which aren't counted by google for your website.

Backlinks are incoming links to your website that are counted by search engine. Higher the backlinks, higher your rankings.
Its always advisable to have themed links (links from same category of your website)

Let's say i review a blogger website in my blog , and i have the link in my blog , so that it will link back the he / she website .
Does this consider backlinks ? How am i going to do the backlink ?
