ive started wortking for a small local media and publishing company who deal with local businesses and local advertising. at the moment we have a small website which is basically a information source. they have asked me to look into getting the site a bit more local community based.

basically looking for the following

Local Articles (enerted by public or admin, modorated by admin)

Local Events (enerted by public or admin, modorated by admin)

Local Classifieds (enerted by public, modorated by admin)

Local Discussions (forum style)

Local Businesses (enerted by public, modorated by admin)

Banner advertising throughout the site (random banners entered by admin and maybe click monitoring)

Local Web Links (entered by admin)

Local Newsletters (admin)

Local Polls (admin)

Local Weather (automated from weather channel etc)

Local News Headlines (automated by skynews etc)

Anyone have know of any opensource programs that would tick all the boxes?

i have found this but it does look a little out of date
