Alright so i been reading up on yahoo and its recent low amount of traffic and was wondering what you guys think yahoo could do to get through this rough patch. This of course excluding "Becoming more like Google" as they have already stated that they will not follow or try to copy goggles tactics.

Think you are right, Yahoo would really be loosing more and more traffic day by day. As a company I don't think they have any option open to survive the trouble time. Its just matter of time, I think, MS would operate Yahoo search.

yes, niceextra, i heard those rumors too. But, who knows, Yahoo is a big company, maybe will come up with something to fight against google expansion.

I think both are important in his place.

Because now a days yahoo answer is one of the best resources for traffics.

Yahoo are also popular in some top country like UK.

And i dont think that yahoo would not care this point on which we are discussing here.

yahoo answer is only useful once people chose to be best answer, over then this, may seo often desperate with the effectiveness of yahoo answer. more over yahoo answer is only good for traffic, I dont think it will help much in SEO ranking or serp

For god sake stop , even if something is not happening to yahoo these rumors will turn as a grave danger to it , but one thing for sure yahoo answers are meant for the ones who need specif answers and that to in terms of quality .

I am not using Yahoo so much except my email. Mostly, I prefer Google as search engine because It provide latest facilities and information. I used Yahoo answer for regarding my Question or Query and it helped me a lot. Yahoo answer is also very nice for taking information.

Yahoo is not dying. They are still front News, Mails, advertisements and others.
